Cpi September 2024. Price indices percentage changes and weights for the different measures of consumer price inflation. On a monthly basis, cpi rose by 0.3% in august 2024, the same rate as in august 2023.
Consumer prices rose 0.2% in september, hotter than expected; Core cpi rose by 3.2% in the year to september 2024, down from 3.6% in august 2024 and below its recent high of 7.1% in may 2023, which was the highest recorded since 7.2% in march 1992 in our constructed historical series.
